Lara Aslan is a Turkish actress. She acted as Ilgaz in Ya Çok Seversen (If You Love, also: Kerem Bürsin), as Biricik in Can Borcu (Hidden Destiny) and as Ilyun in Aynı Yağmur Altında (Under The Same Rain, also: Eda Şölenci, Taro Emir Tekin, Bahar Şahin, Nilsu Berfin Aktaş & Burak Tozkoparan).

• her full name is either Lara Pera Aslan or Su Lara Aslan
• her family are originally of Thrace origin
• she sees her mother, Melda Tuncel, a journalist and presenter, as her greatest source of inspiration
• she didn’t begin her acting journey when she first decided to pursue it, but rather after giving up on other plans
  • she had decided to study at a university in Italy and had even been accepted, ready to go, when her manager advised her against leaving, saying “We still have many things to do together.”
  • through her first job, she decided to enrol in a conservatory in Istanbul and realised how much she truly wanted to pursue acting
