Fırat Kaya is a Turkish actor. He acted in Aşk Seni Bulur (Trans.: Love Finds You), Lanetli Anlaşma (Trans.: Cursed Agreement), Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi (Rumi, also: Devrim Özkan), Bir Sevdadır (Tears of a Bride, also: Ekin Mert Daymaz & Ekin Aksoy), Sıfır Bir (Once Upon a Time in Adana), Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (Saladin/Salahuddin Ayyubi: The Conqueror of Quds, also: Uğur Güneş, Barış Baktaş & Burcu Kirman) and as Murat Yıldırım in Arafta (Bound by Fate, also: Virat Sefer, Bilge Yılmaz, Kaan Arkat, Emin Günenç, Ezgi Dalgıç, Çağrı Baylan & İlay Karataş) and more.

Facts:

• his acting journey began in 2011 when he moved to Izmir, encouraged by his high school teacher to continue pursuing theatre
• from the age of 15, he received training at various art academies, completing courses in on-camera acting, diction and theatre
  • at his family’s request, he began studying in the Department of Commerce at İzmir University of Economics
  • in the following years, he left the Department of Commerce and began preparing for the Conservatory’s Theatre Department
  • after being accepted into several schools, he chose to study at Bursa Uludağ University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre, upon his teachers’ recommendation to attend a state university
    • however, feeling that the education he received was insufficient, he eventually decided to leave the program
  • in 2019, he retook the entrance exams and began studying at İstanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Fine Arts
  • while he was in his final year, Mehmet Birkiye invited him to join the ensemble he had founded
    • as part of this team, he participated in the 10th Hungary International Theatre Olympics, which brought together participants from 11 countries
      • after successfully representing his country, he graduated in 2023
