Burak Sevinç is a Turkish actor and singer. Facts:

• he is the son of oud musician Özcan Sevinç
• at the age of 11, he began taking lessons in the qanun at the Turkish Classical Music Association under his father’s guidance
  • after six months of training, he started playing instruments such as the violin, oud, qanun and guitar and in 1997, he began performing on stage at the Zonguldak Classical Music Association
• he has been very interested in carpentry for years and loves working with wood
  • many of the items in his home are made by him, he finds it therapeutic and can spend hours working without thinking about anything else
• he received diving training for five years, after this extensive training, he has been diving professionally for over seven years
• he played handball, volleyball and basketball at a licensed level, but ultimately chose music
  • his sibling continued with volleyball and became a professional
• in 2018, he took part in a charity project teaching rhythm to children with cancer and performing a song with other artists, with all proceeds supporting their treatment
• he believes the key to success is being a good person first, followed by professional achievement and earning a living
