Celil Nalçakan is a Turkish actor and author. He acted in Sıla, Arka Sokaklar (Back Streets, also: Ülkü, Faruk, Emre &  Mert Ramazan), Galip Derviş, Benim İçin Üzülme (Don’t Worry About Me, also: Barış & Uğur), Poyraz Karayel (For My Son), Kardeşlerim (My Siblings, also: Lizge), Bir Aile Hikayesi (Better Together, also: Ezgi), Sustalı Ceylan and more. His new series Rüya Gibi (Like a Dream, also: Gökberk, Furkan, Seda, Ahsen, Yeliz, Burcu, Şebnem & Yağmur) was released on December 2, 2025.

Facts:

• has a younger sister who is 17 years younger than him
• left both schools (see Education) because of his passion for theatre; while still a student, he joined the Sivas State Theatre and dropped out
• passed the entrance exam for TÜRVAK and moved to Istanbul, where he began studying acting
• he made his acting debut in 2006
• once co-hosted a program called Şişenin Dibi together with actress Algı Eke
• became famous through the TV series Poyraz Karayel, in which he portrayed the character Zülfikar
• after releasing his book Elveda Diyorsun Eyvallah Diyorum in 2019, he also published İçimde Söven Biri Var in 2022
• also writes actively for KAFA Magazine
• not only do we hear him sing in many of his projects, but we also often see him on stage in venues and music programs
• he is a loyal football team Beşiktaş supporter
