Mert Demirci is a Turkish actor. Facts:

• he studied coaching and worked as a trainer for a while; in fact, he had nothing to do with acting at all
  • he felt stuck and began searching for something new, he started working at 11 and worked in different jobs and explored various paths, including business ventures, but none of them truly felt right for him
  • while working at a gym, he started sharing content on social media, one video went viral, quickly gaining 25 million views and tens of thousands of followers, making him realise he had become famous almost overnight
  • an actor he knew from gym encouraged him to try acting, but he initially felt he lacked the curiosity and excitement needed
  • despite many doubts and moments of wanting to quit, he was recommended to agencies and landed a role for Kızılcık Şerbeti (Cranberry Sorbet) the next day
• he wants to play a character from Urfa one day, his father used to speak with a strong regional accent so much that at one point he thought his father was from Urfa, even though they are actually from Kayseri
• until he became friends with the actor Tolga Mendi, he was the chef, but “Tolga makes such delicious Tantuni, it is the best i have ever eaten in my life” he says
• the number 11 is his lucky number and he even has it as a tattoo on his body
• he loves horseback riding and frequently shares photos and videos with horses on his Instagram account
• he says that his father was probably the happiest about him acting alongside Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, since he grew up watching Kenan with his father
• regularly does sports such as fitness and takes care of his physique
  • enjoys engaging in various sports activities, such as surfing and snowboarding
