Murat Yıldırım is a Turkish actor and host. In 1999 he made his Television debut in Ayrılsak da Beraberiz (Trans. Even If We Separate, We’re Together) He’s best known for his roles in Organize İşler (Money Trap), Kocan Kadar Konuş (Husband Factor, also: Ezgi) Asi (Rebellious), Suskunlar (Game of Silence, also: Aslı), Ramo (also: Cemre, İlhan & Esra), Aziz (with Simay), Teşkilat (The Shadow Team, also: Ezgi, Deniz, Aybüke & Ali) and Güller ve Günahlar (Sins and Roses, also: Doğaç, Gizem & Cemre).

Facts:

• he’s of Kurdish and Arab origin, his father is originally from Mardin – Türkiye
• met his Moroccan wife Iman El Bani in London at a café through mutual friends
  • after Murat returned to Istanbul they continued to talk and see each other
  • one day while talking on the phone Murat suddenly proposed to her, at first Iman didn’t take it seriously and thought he was joking
