Şebnem Bozoklu Atkaya is a Turkish presenter and actress. She is known for her roles in Canım Ailem (Dear Family, also: Ezgi), Ulan İstanbul (Bandits, also: Şükrü & Salih), Şahsiyet (Persona), Yılbaşı Gecesi (New Years Eve), Cebimdeki Yabancı (Stranger in My Pocket), Kızılcık Şerbeti (Cranberry Sorbet, also: Seray), Biz Böyleyiz (The Way We Are, also: Özge & İlhan) and more. Her new series Rüya Gibi (Like a Dream, also: Gökberk, Burcu, Uğur, Celil, Furkan, Yeliz, Seda, Ahsen, Emre & Yağmur) was released on December 2, 2025.

Facts:

• her paternal family is from Isparta, Türkiye, while her maternal family is from Siirt, Türkiye and of Egyptian descent
• when her grandmother, mother and aunt get together, they always speak Arabic
  • she is one of those people who understand Arabic, maybe around 30%, but find it harder to speak
  • some of the jokes she shares with her mother are in Arabic
• between 2005 and 2006, she served as a director for the play Sanat Dansı ile Mondi at Çisenti Theatre
• she’s also known for her close friendship with actor Enis Arıkan
• in the series Ulan İstanbul, the songs performed by the characters Yaren and Carlos (played by Erkan Kolçak Köstendil) became very popular in Türkiye
  • especially their song Yanarım was a big hit and has been viewed more than 50 million times on YouTube
• buys a lot of second-hand clothes to protect the environment
• she is someone who loves what she does, believes in her work, strives to improve herself and is hardworking, but above all, she is a great dreamer
