Yağmur Özbasmacı Mermer is a Turkish actress. She is known for her roles in Deniz Yıldızı (Starfish), Benim Adım Melek (Melek: A Mother’s Struggle), Babam ve Ailesi (Family Secrets), Beni Affet (Forgive Me), Esaretim Sensin (You Are My Captivity), Tutsak (Captive), Bir Umut Yeter (Waves of Hope, also: Esra), Leke (Tainted Love) and Tuzak (Trap). Her new series Rüya Gibi (Like a Dream, also: Gökberk, Burcu, Uğur, Celil, Furkan, Emre, Seda, Şebnem, Yeliz & Ahsen) was released on December 2, 2025.

• she has a dog of the pug breed, which she cares for and enjoys spending time with
• likes sports, especially Pilates, which she practices to stay active and maintain physical balance
• enjoys reading books and often spends her free time immersed in literature
• her husband, Onur Mermer, was the director of photography for the TV series Deniz Yıldızı in which she acted
• she says “My mother may seem afraid of everything, but she is actually the bravest person I know. I wish I resembled her in more ways. She has been writing English textbooks for as long as I can remember, and now she even has a novel on the shelves.”
